Topic#4 Memories

    Time goes so fast!Our 4 weeks program is going to finished. There are many memories as I look back upon this month.
    I felt very lonely the first day when I came here.I couldn't fall asleep at first night.I felt very nervous when I spoke English.Meanwhile, I felt very excited when I walked in the campus. It has been 8 years since I left campus last time. I felt free and energetic again.I enjoyed the life of campus.
    The most unforgettable thing was watching NBA game.It's not only a game,but also a show. You could experience the spot atmosphere which is rare in other countries.
    I also learned very much. The most important was English skill and American culture, Such as idioms, grammar,conversation skills and so on. Although I must continue studying hard I think that I have made a great progress.I also learned how to live more independently.
    I knew many new friends here.We came from different countries. But we usually said the same language-English. Some of them were our teachers. Some of them were my classmates. Some of them were known from the activities. We tried to practise our English everyday.We also got a good friendship. We should keep in touch after we came back to our own countries.
    After this program I will continue study here about one year.So, when you come to America again do not forget to come to UCI. Maybe we can meet again.All good things must come to an end.I wish all of us had a new beginning.

Topic#3 Memorable destination: crystal cove beach

I think my most memorable destination is Crystal cove beach.It was my fast time to go to the beach in the USA.My homestay's mother drove me to the crystal cove beach to have breakfast at my first Saturday morning in the America．The beach was so beautiful that I took many pictures about it. I had walk into the water. It was very cold. I felt frozen.But I fit the cold after a short while.To my surprise,i saw many live sea animals on the beach.I never saw that before.Some of the sea animals like flowers.I had saw many sea stars over there. They usually were two or more together.I touched them,but they didn't move.I still felt very exciting.

Topic #2 someone I admire

   Xiaoping Deng was the core of "second generation" of Communist Party of China (CCP) leadership. He was born in poor peasant’s family in Sichuan province. He was well known as “China’s reform and opening-up” in 1978 and “socialist market economy theory”. He was called “the head constructor of China’s reform and opening-up”. The return back to China of Hong Kong and Macao was also attributed his diplomacy. But is political career was not smooth. He failed three times during his political career. But he never gave up. He cared about the country and people. He realized that economy development was the only way to Chinese development in 1978. So he pointed out the most important thing of China was developing economy. He focused on Chinese economy construction after he back to China leadership. He was successful and made Chinese economy development faster than ever. He built up a good basis for Chinese economy development. Chinese economic development achievements are owed to his leadership today. He loved China very much. He said:”I am a son of peasant, I love my country and people deeply.” which moved all Chinese.

  My name is Yuliang Li. I come from China. This is the first time come to the US. I come here to learn English, so I can communicate with foreigners better, and travel abroad by myself either.
  I am working for a bank in China. I have been there for 8 years. I like my job very much. 
  I like relaxation in my part time. I usually watch TV and listen to the music,because it makes me feel relaxed.
